What is SHADES Dancewear ?
SHADES dancewear is an inclusive UK brand that allows dancers to retain their identity and embrace their ethnicity from the minute they step into their first dance class. We believe SHADES dancewear will revolutionize the way dancers of all skin tones view themselves, in a space that has yet to fully acknowledge inclusivity.
What types of products will you have available at launch?
We currently have Ballet Socks, Convertible Tights, Dance Support Belts, Ballet Shoes and finally Jazz Shoes as our initial supported products. We hope to add more to the collection in the future.
I don't know what shade of dancewear my skin tone will match?
SHADES dancewear offers you a unique colour match swatch that dancers can order to ensure that each of our products are matched perfectly with their skin.
The impact of being able to do this is something that only our beautiful black and brown skinned dancers will fully understand.
